Updated Requirements for Teaching Job in Thailand during the Covid-19 Pandemic
- Native English speaker/Passport
holder from one of the following countries:
(USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand) - Age between 20 and 50
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (beneficial, not required)
- TEFL certificate (beneficial, not required)
- Must sign a one-semester
contract minimum
(one-year contract preferred) - Positive attitude and an open-mind

Step by Step Application Process:
- Step 1: Submit and online
application via our website, www.teachthailand.org or send us the following documents below directly to our
placement team at info.placements@teachthailand.org
– Updated CV (resume)
– Bachelor’s
degree or higher (preferred, not required)
– Official Education Transcripts
– TEFL certificate (preferred, not
required)
– Formal photograph (not older than 6 months)
– Passport copied
– Police Clearance (if not available, we require it later)
– A 45-second to 1-minute introduction video*
- Step 2: If your application is approved and when all the documents are
received, our placement team will contact you for a casual online interview.
- Step 3: Placement Process – Reserving placement before traveling to Thailand.
- Step 4: Visa Processing – After being accepted by a school, your placement will be confirmed and reserved. From here, visa processing will begin.
- Step 5: Submit the COE (Certificate of Entry to Thailand) and book the alternative state quarantine package. At this time, we will make final preparations, answer any questions and, conduct briefings so that you are comfortable every step of the way before entering Thailand.
