We are URGENTLY looking for a Native English Speaker to teach primary students at a private school in Map Ammarit District, Chumphon. Map Ammarit is compact small beach town connecting Chumphon, Gateway to Southern Thailand, and Prajuabkirikhan together. It is only 2 hours by train to Hua Hin. It is very easy to hop on the bus or train up north to Bangkok/Central Thailand or further down south to Surathani or Phuket or Krabi. There are many expats live and work there so you will have a small foriegners community.
You will be working from Monday to Friday at 7.30 – 16.00. The US curriculum is provided, you will only work on your own weekly lesson plans, preparing teaching materials, preparing exams, grading, joining school activities/duty. An attentive mind with calm and willing to be with kids are very essential.

Class Size: 10 – 15 students per class
Working Days: Monday – Friday
Working Hours: 8.00 am – 16.30 pm approximately
Teaching Hours: 20 – 25 periods per week
Salary: 35,000 THB per month
Qualifications
- Age 21-45 years old
- Bachelor Degree or higher in any field
- Being Native English Speakers (UK, US, AUS, CA, NZ, SAF)
- Teaching experience is advantage but not necessary
- TEFL certificate is beneficial but not compulsory
- Clean Police Clearance record
- Be open-minded to learn and adapt oneself to different cultures
- Positive Can-do Attitude
Job Descriptions
- Teach English to Thai students
- To prepare lesson plans and teaching materials, exams, marking, evaluation reports if required
- To attend school activities and perform school duty sometimes
- Complete other tasks as assigned by school
